Came here to do work mid-afternoon around 3:30pm on a weekday - it was pretty full but there was still seating available. Interior is spacious with a really cute aesthetic and a good ambiance for working or chatting! There are also a few tables outside if you want to enjoy the weather. There were a good amount of people doing work and also a few groups chatting when I went, so around medium volume. I only spotted one outlet along the walls. Parking is plentiful in the large lot outside. I ordered a chai tea latte with oat milk which was delicious! Would come back in the future to try their other drinks.

SO STINKIN' KYOOOOOOT! The place doesn't look like much upon parking but the interior and the decor is a vibe! Plenty of space to sit whether you need to be alone, on a date or want to get together with some friends! I decided to try the Tahitian Vanilla since it seemed like the most ordered from the reviews. I asked the barista is it popular iced or hot and she said a lot of people order it iced. She let me know it's on the sweeter side so I asked her to do half the sweetness. She let me know if I wanted to add more flavoring she can add more. After my first sip I did ask her to put more and it tasted good! I substituted the whole milk with oat milk and I feel the oat milk may be overpowering the taste of the vanilla so I will definitely try this drink with regular milk. Walking back to my car I had a chance to appreciate the exterior decor. They have a patio outside that has tables, chairs and hanging bench chairs. There was a group hanging out so I didnt want to paparazzi their little meet. I definitely think this place is worth checking out! I wish I got the baristas name, she was super sweet and kind. Will be back to make a tiktok :) i didnt get to take all the photos i wanted of the full menu and decor but thats what will make me HAVE to come back a 2nd time.

Every drink from here was perfect! My matcha latte was well made, not watery, strong flavor and espresso complimented well. The ice blended drink was even better than expected and really nice on a warm day. The caramel latte was warm and smooth, my mom doesn't like too many drinks and found this one really delicious and not too sweet. Service was nice, informative, and quick. The shop itself has lots of seating for socializing and for working. Really cute and simple design with comfortable seating. Lots of drink and pastry options to try as well!

We were around the area and were itching to try a new coffee spot. I found Home Coffee on Yelp with impressive ratings, so we decided to go for it. Let me tell you--this hit the spot for me. Everything about it was just *chef's kiss*. They have cute outdoor seating where you can sit on a swing while you enjoy the breeze and your drink. The inside is very spacious, super cozy, and just so aesthetically pleasing with their minimalist decor. Their service was also fairly quick, even with the four drinks we ordered. The staff was also nice enough to make sure we weren't allergic to dairy since we got all of our drinks with oat milk, and they used powder with dairy for some of their flavors. What we tried: Black Latte (espresso, cocoa, coconut oil, charcoal) - not my favorite, but definitely worth trying. It's creamy and a little nutty with a small hint of coconut, and it's not sweet at all. I've seen reviews where they said it was too sweet for them, so I'm not sure if the drink I got was just off, but it wasn't sweet to me at all. Home Sweet Home (espresso, vanilla chai tea) - Home Coffee's take on a dirty chai latte. I liked it--it's the perfect blend of sweet and spicy with just that perfect dose of vanilla and cinnamon. Horchata Latte (espresso, horchata) - one of my favorites out of the four drinks we tried. I was already a fan of horchata to begin with, but this was like blissful horchata heaven with a kick of caffeine. It was so creamy with just the right amount of cinnamon sweetness. Tahitian Vanilla Latte (espresso, tahitian vanilla powder) - another favorite! I've heard that this drink is a bestseller, so of course we had to try it. And everyone was right--this drink was bomb diggity. It's an upscale version of a simple vanilla latte--sweet and creamy with that bold coffee flavor still intact. I would go back here. I can have 10 of their iced horchata lattes or tahitian vanilla lattes any day of the week.

I enjoyed my Tahitian vanilla iced latte half sweet with oat milk. For me, full sweet would have been too much. It's very cute inside. I love the plants and simplicity of the decor. My drink came out quickly. I will likely visit again.

Place was okay, seems pretty popular since there was a lot of folks and was pretty much out of a lot of things. Had the croissant which was alright, also had their Tahitian Vanilla Latte since it was the most popular latte here, wasn't too crazy about it. Service was good. A lot of parking and it's kinda hidden in the back.

Updating my review 3/30/24 So happy that management heard our opinion and added more tables in the space. I love that the place has so much seating options both inside and outside. They have benches made out of cloth and they're really dirty and so is the rug (see image) which makes it feel like it's not a clean place which I've never had an issue with any of my drinks but honestly looking at the grimy, dirty rug is so disgusting and gives it a bad look. This place is great I keep knocking one star off because of the cleanliness of its furniture. Had their loose leaf tea and it was delicious!

I love the feeling of this place. For me there is nostalgia because I remember when this place was known as wonderland a nickel arcade and much of my teenage life was here. I'm glad that it became a place that I can enjoy with my family again. Especially now that I have children and this place has beautiful swings outside. The service was lovely and quick. I'm glad that they were able to answer my questions because it was my first time being at this place. I enjoyed my drink outside while I was waiting for my reservation for the near by restaurant.

I love love love home coffee! I've been a fan ever since they opened during the pandemic. All their drinks are good and are on the lighter side. You can order pretty much anything from their full coffee and matcha bar in case you're craving something different. I think they have the best point system of all the coffee shops in San Diego. I accumulate points super fast and get free drinks and pastries often. Ever since they revamped their decor and merch they've attracted so many more customers. The cafe does get very busy especially after the church services so I recommend coming on weekdays or before church service.
